Joshs previous coaches say hes one of the most athletic and physically talented players in Oklahoma. In 2002 Josh started at Free Safety and Quarterback as well as all special teams. In 2003, he started at Quarterback, Free Safety, Punter, and Kicker as well as played some at Wide Receiver. Josh attended several team and individual camps including the 2003 invite only Nike Individual Combine in College Station, Texas. Besides his athletic and physical talent, Joshs coaches comment that he has tremendous defensive speed and hitting power, is a natural leader, thrives under pressure and as a quarterback, has one of the strongest arms in the state. In addition, during high school, Josh was one of class 6As top punters and on defense, with his speed and power, was an exceptional cover man who crushed defenders. His World Football League OKC Wolverines Coach Carl Pouncil stated, "Josh is our Captain, has tons of ability, natural instincts, tremendous speed and power and a rocket arm."

Stats and Honors:
From 2002-2004, Josh threw for over 5000 yards, rushed for over 2000, recorded over 290 tackles, 5 interceptions and threw or ran for over 42 touchdowns. In addition, Josh had a 57 yard punting average, with an average hang time over 5.2 seconds, kicked 32 extra points and 17 (59 longest) field goals. In 2008 & 09, for the World Football Leagues Oklahoma Thunder, playing OLB and Deep Snapper, Josh recorded a total of 160 tackles,18 sacks, 29 forced fumbles, 18 interceptions, 9 fumble recoveries, and 0 muffed snaps on FG, XP and punts. As a result, Josh was selected to the 2008 WFL All-Star Team, 2008 MLFN All-American and played in the 2008 MLFM All-American Game in Mesquite Las Vegas playing SS/OLB/WR/QB and Punter. In 2009, playing for the WFL Arkansas Warcats, as an OLB/SS and Deep Snapper, Josh recorded 100 tackles, 5 forced fumbles, 24 interceptions, 17 sacks, 4 fumble recoveries, and 0 muffed snaps and was selected to the 2009 WFL All-Star Team.
